Ho’Oponopono

Ho’oponopono is bringing back the light to our life so

that the memories of our wounds no longer affect us negatively.

Ho’Oponopono stands for:

Ho’ means Action: something you need to do, either by thoughts or by action.

Pono means to be correct, to be in integrity with yourself and others, to be righteous.

Ho’Oponopono means to make right, more right. To rectify an error.

Ho’Oponopono is a Hawaiian spiritual healing practice of forgiveness and conflict resolution, that cleans the mind of negative thoughts and feelings and converting it into positive energy.

Thoughts are very powerful. Where your thought goes, energy flows.

Positive affirmations keep your light shining (*Bowl of light) and keep your innerchild or Unihipili happy. The Hawaiian unihipili stands for your subconsciousness.

Awareness is the first step to understand that every person has the capability to promote better health by the way of thinking. The awareness and understanding of how to live responsibly to bring balance & harmony to yourself and to your external relationships.

When you are practicing daily, you will create more space, more light and exciting things are coming into place. And you are the only one who can change this.

As lomilomi practitioners we work to help you achieve this balance, the Aloha-balance.

Morrnah Nalamaku Simeona, a native Hawaiian Kahuna and gifted healer, was surrounded by this ancient oral healing tradition from the beginning. At age three, she was recognized to carry on this living tradition. Since the training was oral, handed down from teacher to student, there were no books to read, no notes to take. She learned by listening, repeating and remembering. The traditional Ho’Oponopono required the entire family to attend the healing. In 1976, at the age of 63, she developed a new system of healing based on the ancient spiritual tradition.

Her system is simple and can be used successfully by anyone.

The process is essentially about FREEDOM, complete FREEDOM from the past

*A beautiful Hawaiian story called “The Bowl of Light” reminds us that it’s never too late to turn life around and live from light and love. We are all born with a perfect bowl full of light, a gift from our Aumakua — our creator of life. This bowl is the vessel of who we are. If we learn to respect and cherish this light and live our lives from love, we can create our highest path on this planet. When our bowl is full of light, there is plenty of love and energy available to fuel and inspire everything we do. However, if we lose touch with this light and become fearful, judgmental or negative, each time we do so, a stone is added to our bowl, with each stone pushing out some of the light. If we stay in this pattern long enough, our bowl of light can eventually become a bowl full of stones, where no light can shine and we will become a stone. A stone does not grow, nor does it move. If at any time we are tired of being a stone, all we need to do is turn the bowl upside down and the stones will fall away and the Light will grow once more.
